Koo also outlined measures to crack down on price gouging in the accommodation sector, including continued joint inspections into suspected price collusion, tax evasion and unilateral booking cancellations. He added that the government plans to propose legal amendments this month to introduce a voluntary price-reporting system for accommodation businesses and new penalties for one-sided reservation cancellations.
