Next week, the committee tasked with analyzing the amendments registered to the two bills from PNV and EH Bildu for the reform of the Public Employment Law, the norm that regulates linguistic profiles in the Administration, will be launched in the Basque Parliament.
This working body will be formed on June 1 within the Commission on Institutions, Public Governance and Security, chaired by the jeltzale Olatz Peón, and from then on it will begin the detailed study of the modifications proposed to the texts promoted by the PNV and the sovereignist coalition.
With the launch of the committee, the groups in the Chamber will begin the analysis and discussion of the amendments presented to the legislative initiatives, a process that will culminate in the elaboration of a committee report that must go through the commission before being sent to the plenary for debate and voting.
The period for registering amendments ended on April 30. The PNV introduced three changes to its own proposal with the aim of reinforcing the legal certainty of the requirements related to the knowledge of Euskera in public employment calls in Euskadi.
