There is “great disquiet” at the way Victorian Labor has been handling whistleblower MP Kaushaliya Vaghela and her claims against Premier Daniel Andrews, according to broadcaster Jane Marwick.
The ALP is moving to expel Ms Vaghela from the Party after breaking party rules crossing the floor to support a motion by former Labor powerbroker Adem Somyurek.
Ms Vaghela’s state of mind was questioned by Victorian Treasurer Tim Pallas after comments she made against the state premier involving claims of a bullying culture within the Party.
“It’s the lowest blow to call into question someone’s mental fitness,” Ms Marwick said.
“She’s (Ms Vaghela) incredibly strong.
