Turner Specialty Services LLC has sufficient contact with the state of Texas to be compelled to defend there a lawsuit over a worker’s death, a state appeals court said.
The petrochemical facility maintenance company was sued by the family of Justin Horn, who died just 10 days after being hired. His survivors alleged his death was caused by Turner’s failure to properly train its workers.
