Russian propaganda is spreading false statements that the account of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, was allegedly created within the territorial jurisdiction of Russia.
According to Ukrinform, these statements are confirmed by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on their official Facebook page.
To support the thesis, they refer to an allegedly screenshot of the account created specifically for this information campaign, with the stated place of registration.
