Tiveron Law is getting new office space in Ellicottville, largely due to the growing amount of local real estate work.
The current Ellicottville office, at 6133 Route 219, consists of one paralegal, Erin Morrison, who’s been “doing a fantastic job,” said firm managing partner and owner Diane Tiveron.
“Right now, the work we do there is mostly real estate,” Tiveron said. “You drive down there, drive through Ellicottville, and I think they just do really good marketing.”
It’s become a place for people to buy second homes or vacations homes, Tiveron said, because it’s a beautiful area with more festivals, restaurants and businesses then the town has had in the past.
“It’s a really robust market,” she said. “Their Main Street is alive, and they’ve done a good job making it a destination. It’s not just skiing anymore. I think there’s so many other things to do, and it’s created a lot of traffic. We’ve ridden on the coattails of that success.”
The firm, headquartered at 2410 North Forest Road in Amherst, decided to open a satellite office in Ellicottville in 2016. The firm employs 85, about 25 of them attorneys.
Tiveron Law, formerly Hogan Willig, will move the Ellicottville office over the summer to a building at 5 East Washington St., owned by Ellicott Development. The firm will add another paralegal and offer some of the conference areas of the 2,000-square-foot-space for local real estate agents to use for meeting with clients, Tiveron said.
