A federal court dismissed with prejudice a False Claims Act suit alleging that US Cellular Corp. and others engaged in a fraudulent scheme to win FCC spectrum licenses at an auction.
Whistleblowers Mark O’Connor and Sara Leibman—who first saw their suit dismissed in March 2022 for being based on publicly disclosed information—failed in an amended complaint to raise different allegations or transactions from those already in the public domain, Judge Tanya S. Chutkan of the US District Court for the District of Columbia said in a Thursday opinion.
