The Victorian government is reviewing KPMG contracts worth tens of millions of dollars to ensure confidential data has not been misused, as the fallout from the firm’s mishandling of whistleblower complaints deepens.
The federal government has also launched a review of tax and corporate whistleblowing laws as part of a push to strengthen legal protections for individuals wanting to reveal wrongdoing.
