Todd Leeson has over 30 years’ experience representing and advising Virginia businesses labor law matters and litigation. He regularly defends employment claims in Virginia courts and various agencies including the EEOC, National Labor Relations Board, and the Virginia Division of Human Rights.

He has been counsel of record in over 85 employment cases in the Western District of Virginia and has successfully defended companies in over 24 EEOC charges alleging discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

In 2022, Leeson was named practice group leader for the Gentry Locke Employment Practice Group. He also chairs the firm’s DEI Committee and is a past president of the Roanoke Valley Society of Human Resources Management.

Leeson’s firm notes his “unique and special expertise handling union-related legal issues.”

He is a graduate of the College of William & Mary and the University of Notre Dame Law School.
