The state Department of Labor has released a form that employers must post about the Whistleblower Protection Law.
This form, “Notice of Employee Rights, Protections, and Obligations Under Labor Law Section 740,” must be “Posted Conspicuously in easily accessible and well-lighted places customarily frequented by employees and applicants for employment.”
The Whistleblower Protection Law expanded the scope of the individuals who could bring claims and limited retaliatory actions by employers.
