A former manager for a window coverings manufacturer who alleged that she was fired for raising concerns about the company’s tariff policy had her False Claims Act retaliation suit properly dismissed, the Seventh Circuit affirmed Thursday.
Jennifer Lam-Quang-Vinh alleged that Wisconsin-based Springs Window Fashions LLC harassed her and then fired her after she told management that the company should have paid the US government higher tariffs associated with fabrics made in China, as opposed Malaysian or Taiwanese products.
