SACRAMENTO, Calif., March 23, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Northern California employment law attorneys, at Zakay Law Group, APLC and JCL Law Firm, APC, filed a class action complaint against Freeway Insurance Services America, LLC, Freeway Insurance Services, Inc., Confie Seguros California, LLC, Confie Holding II Co., and Confie Seguros, Inc. (collectively, "Freeway Insurance Services and Confie Seguros") for the alleged failure to provide compensation for all hours worked. The Freeway Insurance Services and Confie Seguros class action lawsuit, Case No. 34-2022-00316664, is currently pending in the Sacramento County Superior Court of the State of California. The lawsuit is brought on behalf of all individuals who are or previously were employed by Freeway Insurance Services and Confie Seguros as non-exempt, piece-rate based, and/or commission-based employees in California from March 10, 2018 to the present. Some of these Freeway Insurance Services and Confie Seguros employees were allegedly entitled to separate hourly compensation for time spent performing all non-sales related tasks directed by Freeway Insurance Services and Confie Seguros during their work shifts and are entitled to one hour of pay for their rest periods.
