A shocking video recorded at Chicago’s Damen Avenue CTA station has gone viral for all the wrong reasons. A white woman falsely accused a Black man of stealing her bag, triggering a violent attack from another bystander.
The disturbing false accusation incident happened yesterday (11-07-25), and now has over 3.7 million views on X. The clip shows the woman’s story quickly falling apart once police arrive and verify the man owns the bag.
The woman first accused the man after seeing him with a similar-looking bag. She called for police and loudly claimed he was a thief. The man stayed calm, repeatedly saying the bag was his.
Before police arrived, another man stepped in on the woman’s behalf and violently attacked the accused. Witnesses caught the moment on camera, as the man endured shoving and punches without fighting back.
When officers finally checked the bag, they found the man’s ID, wallet, keys, and other personal items inside. That confirmed his ownership and cleared him on the spot.
