LANSING — The former chief financial officer for the Ingham County Health Department filed a whistleblower lawsuit last month, alleging she was fired after raising concerns about the department's budget.
However, in a court filing responding to the lawsuit, the health department said Jennifer Mora resigned from her position after leaving a meeting about her job performance, which included the claim that she missed a $4 million Medicaid settlement in her budget analysis.
