Legal director Victoria Jackson has joined the Kendal office of employment law specialist AfterAthena.
The appointment supports the firm’s growth strategy, particularly across Cumbria and the wider north-west region.
Ms Jackson will work alongside partners Angela Barnes and Jamie Allison to deliver employment law services, with a focus on a growing number of employment tribunal matters.

Ms Jackson brings 16 years of experience from Clarion, a Leeds-based law firm.
She specialises in workplace investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures, organisational change, and employee relations.
Her appointment follows those of Sonia Hanson as business development manager and Denise Finlay, who brings 27 years of experience in sales and business development.
AfterAthena is part of north west regional law firm Napthens Group.
Clients of AfterAthena include Fitness First, Booths, Fresenius Kabi, Daisy O2, Thwaites, English Football League and N Brown Group.
Ms Jackson is also a trainer with a passion for pastoral care, learning and development.
