Marvel star Jeremy Renner has responded to allegations that he sent unsolicited NSFW pictures to a Chinese film partner and threatened to call immigration on her, claiming they are 'false, outrageous and highly defamatory'.
Last week, Chinese filmmaker Yi Zhou made multiple accusations against Marvel star Renner in a slew of Instagram posts.
The 34-year-old director, who says she made a documentary and animated movie with Renner, claimed she had been in ‘fear’ of him for ‘months’ after an alleged altercation at his home and has been driven to 'share a truth I have been holding inside for too long’.
In her first post, Zhou claimed that the 54-year-old actor contacted her in June with 'personal and intimate photographs of himself' which were ‘out of the blue’.
This was followed by an apparent 'string of unwanted / unsolicited pornographic images of himself via DM and WhatsApp', she alleges.
“After having calls and text discussions he allured me and sold me he [was] looking for a relation and of course seduced / flatted [sic] that he was a Hollywood star fantasizing and loving me so much I believed in him," she wrote.
Zhou claimed their relationship turned romantic, stating that ‘we have been in a relationship,’ and saying Renner had ‘found new love’ with her.
