Johnson & Johnson and Alcon Inc. affiliates are free of antitrust litigation over an alleged scheme to fix contact lens prices, after a federal judge in Jacksonville, Fla., signed off Wednesday on settlements worth a combined $75 million.
Judge Harvey Schlesinger approved agreements calling for payments of $55 million by Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Inc. and $20 million by Alcon Vision LLC, the last two companies facing class action claims in the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
