Lockheed Martin no longer has to face a whistleblower’s False Claims Act suit alleging that the company improperly billed the government under contracts to support the C-130J Super Hercules aircraft.
Whistleblower and mechanic Tesfalem Isaac alleged that Lockheed Martin submitted false claims by failing to follow safety procedures for sealing fuel tanks and by not providing gear to protect employees from chemical exposure.
But Issac’s complaint failed to allege details regarding specific claims for payment made to the government, Judge Mark H. Cohen of the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia said in a Thursday order.
